A Phoenix custom grazing-table service and a nationwide overnight charcuterie kitchen, both built around the same craft but reaching very different customers. When you're shopping for a charcuterie gift or hosting moment, the local custom-board makers and the ship-anywhere brands solve different problems, and the right pick depends on where you and the recipient actually are. Charcuterie Crossing and Boarderie both care deeply about presentation, both take the craft seriously, and both have built loyal customers, but they are not the same distribution model.
What's the actual difference between Boarderie and Charcuterie Crossing?
Boarderie ships chef-arranged cheese AND charcuterie boards overnight from our West Palm Beach kitchen to any address in the US, ready to set on the table. Charcuterie Crossing is a Phoenix-area custom charcuterie service that builds custom boards, grazing tables for events, and hosts in-person charcuterie classes. Two different distribution models for the same product family.
Charcuterie Crossing is run by Amanda out of Phoenix, Arizona (Sky Crossing, 85050). The business does custom charcuterie boards (including letter and wooden monogram designs), grazing tables for local events, "Girls Nite In(TM)" charcuterie classes, and specialty formats including veggie boards, dessert boards, gluten-free options, and charcuterie cups. Their model is local catering and pickup, not nationwide shipping. Their positioning is "Where Stunning Meets Delicious."
We started Boarderie in 2021 with a different question: what would it take to deliver a catering-quality cheese AND charcuterie board, fully arranged, anywhere in the country, overnight, ready to serve? The answer became a new product category that does not require the buyer to live within driving distance. We have been featured on ABC's Shark Tank (Season 14), selected for Oprah's Favorite Things in 2022 and 2023, and named a Food Network Editor's Pick in 2025.
Both brands care about the same craft. The difference is who can buy it.
