Two founder-led Florida charcuterie brands, two very different ways your board actually arrives. When you're shopping for a cheese and charcuterie gift, "where it ships from" and "how it shows up" matter as much as what's on the board. Boarderie and Beauty & The Board both started with founders who love the craft, both are based in Florida, and both have built loyal followings but they operate on different infrastructure.
What's the actual difference between Boarderie and Beauty & The Board?
Boarderie and Beauty & The Board are both founder-led, Florida-based, charcuterie-loving brands. The difference is what arrives at the door and how it gets there. Boarderie ships chef-arranged, fully assembled cheese and charcuterie boards overnight via FedEx nationwide from one kitchen. Beauty & The Board specializes in local grazing boards and grazing tables for South Florida events, plus ship-to-you kits via the Goldbelly marketplace, where the recipient arranges the components themselves.
Beauty & The Board was founded by Elle Mawardi in 2018. The brand grew out of Elle's hobby of photographing her own grazing boards on social media; her first paid board for a family friend turned into a business. The mission is to "recreate the beautiful experience of human interaction and sharing food and time together." Beauty & The Board does local custom boards and grazing tables for events in South Florida, plus a ship-to-you grazing-board kit available on Goldbelly.
We started Boarderie in 2021 to answer a different question: what would it take to deliver a catering-quality cheese and charcuterie board, fully arranged, anywhere in the country, overnight, ready to serve? The answer became a new product category. Our boards are chef-made the day they ship, hand-arranged with 18 to 37+ artisan items, and shipped directly to all 50 states overnight via FedEx. We have been featured on ABC's Shark Tank (Season 14), selected for Oprah's Favorite Things in 2022 and 2023, named a Food Network Editor's Pick in 2025, and ranked by SimilarWeb as one of the fastest-growing food and beverage websites two years running.
Both brands care deeply about the craft. The infrastructure and gifting jobs are different. Below is how they stack up.
